Bruce Willis was recently seen on a rare outing in Santa Monica, California, alongside a close friend.
The ‘Die Hard’ legend, diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in early 2022, sat in the passenger seat of a sleek black car as he and his companion enjoyed a drive. Dressed casually in a short-sleeved white shirt and a black cap, Willis appeared relaxed during the outing. The pair also stopped to grab coffee, taking in the cool California weather.
Willis, 69, stepped away from his acting career last year after an initial aphasia diagnosis. Since then, he has received continuous support from loved ones. His wife, Emma Heming, recently opened up about his health challenges in an October interview with Town & Country Magazine. She shared how their daughters, Mabel, 12, and Evelyn, 10, have been aware of their father's gradual decline, saying, “I’ve never tried to sugarcoat anything for them.”
Heming revealed that Willis’s dementia journey was initially masked by a return of his childhood stutter, which complicated the diagnosis. She has since focused on raising awareness about frontotemporal dementia, aiming to support other families facing similar struggles. The family remains committed to treasuring time together amid the challenges.
