Underground rapper Jayden Yen Dumont, known by his stage names Jaydes and Evvls, has found himself at the center of a controversy after rumors surfaced that he is currently evading authorities for alleged involvement in an attempted murder.
The 18-year-old Florida-based artist, who began his music journey on SoundCloud in 2020 and rose to underground prominence with singles like ‘Slugs’ and ‘Scam Likely,’ is accused of assaulting a young woman after she allegedly refused his advances.

An Instagram account, ExposingJaydes, shared details purportedly from Jaydes' ex-girlfriend, including graphic descriptions of the alleged incident. The victim reportedly recounted in messages, "He kissed me, and I pushed him off, saying no to sleeping with him, and he came back with scissors and a box cutter and started stabbing me.”
The alleged victim added that she escaped to the bathroom and called 911, claiming Jaydes fled before law enforcement arrived. According to her account, she sustained injuries to her neck, arm, and back.
Following the incident, Jaydes’ Instagram account, currently at over 100,000 followers, has been wiped clean, containing no posts. Social media, particularly X (formerly Twitter), has since been flooded with speculation regarding his whereabouts, as users react to the alarming accusations against the emerging rapper.
Jaydes' past controversies are also resurfacing, adding fuel to the current fire. In August of last year, he was involved in a separate scandal in Los Angeles, where he allegedly messaged two underage girls, misrepresenting his age.
Rumors suggest that, despite being 17, Jaydes claimed he was 16 to one of the girls, aged 14, whom he later met and allegedly engaged with inappropriately. The incident sparked considerable backlash at the time and has further compounded the negative reaction to the recent allegations.
At present, Jaydes has not issued a public response to the accusations, nor has he been apprehended.
