Police bus attack: Madhuri, ‘Commander’ positively identified in court
Madhuri and Commando are charged with killing three people, burning down a house and abducting people.

Kamran Madhuri and Sohail aka Commander, who were booked for the attack on the police bus in Chakra Goth, were positively identified in court on Monday.
The two injured men, brought to the city courts on stretchers, appeared before Judicial Magistrate East Haleem Ahmed. They were taken upstairs one by one.
The complainant in the case, Ashique Chandio, a leader of a nationalist party, and four other witnesses, Shahid Khan, Nazeer, Muhammad Afzal and Shehzad Alam, identified the duo as the men who opened indiscriminate fire on the bus, killing and injuring residents in the locality.
Three policemen were killed and at least 28 others, including DSP Syed Badar Ali Shah, were injured in the attack that took place on August 19.
Madhuri and Commander were also injured, allegedly in the exchange of fire. They reached Jinnah hospital where they were arrested once the police suspected their involvement in the attack.
An anti-terrorism court’s administrative judge has already remanded the men to police custody till September 14.
