Billionaire Elon Musk will join former President Donald Trump for election night events, a move seen as strengthening Musk's support for Trump and sparking further discussion about the influence of X, formerly known as Twitter, on the 2024 election.

According to three sources familiar with Musk’s schedule, the CEO of Tesla and owner of X will attend festivities at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Fla., including a small gathering where he and Trump will monitor live election returns.

Musk has reportedly spent over $119 million supporting a super PAC for Trump and held events on his behalf, including one in Pennsylvania. The evening's activities include multiple gatherings, with Trump expected to address a larger group later at the Palm Beach Convention Center, sources said. Neither Musk's nor Trump’s representatives responded to requests for comment.

Musk's control of X has raised concerns among Democrats, who fear potential misuse of the platform to influence public opinion. In recent weeks, Musk has shared raw voting data suggesting an early lead for Trump in battleground states like Pennsylvania. He has also voiced skepticism over the reliability of voting machines, adding to his warnings that this election is a “critical moment” for democracy.

Musk’s influence and vocal support for Trump have made X a focal point in discussions on election integrity. The tech mogul was also set to host a pro-Trump event for his super PAC on Tuesday, though it reportedly faced delays.
