As Election Day approaches, some fans are pointing to an episode of 'The Simpsons' that they believe foreshadowed Kamala Harris potentially becoming the next President of the United States.

With Vice President Harris in a close race against former President Donald Trump, viewers have drawn uncanny comparisons to a 2000 episode titled 'Bart to the Future', which shows Lisa Simpson as President, facing challenges in the Oval Office.

In the scene, Lisa, dressed in a purple suit and pearl necklace, mentions inheriting “quite a budget crunch from President Trump” to her team—a line that has reignited fan speculation online.

Fans took to social media to express their amazement, sharing side-by-side images of Lisa in the Oval Office and Harris wearing a strikingly similar outfit at her swearing-in as Vice President. “The Simpsons are back at it again,” wrote one X user, while another commented, “Simpsons predictions always accurate.”

Showrunner Mike Scully previously addressed the show's seemingly prophetic ability in an interview, explaining that the purple pantsuit was chosen as a "power look," possibly inspired by Hillary Clinton.

The 'Simpsons' has a history of eerie predictions, including Trump’s initial run for President in 2016. Reflecting on that moment, Scully shared that writers had brainstormed “crazy names” for “the stupidest person that America could elect.”

With Harris endorsed by high-profile celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Taylor Swift, and Beyoncé, her campaign has generated significant attention as Election Day looms.

With polls opening today and results expected by tomorrow morning, only time will tell if Harris will fulfill what fans see as yet another 'Simpsons' prophecy.
