Warner Bros. launches V8 Batmobile replicas from 'The Dark Knight' at $3 million
Warner Bros. has officially launched a luxury collector’s item under the Wayne Enterprises Experience line, offering a limited run of full-scale, road-ready replicas of the legendary Batmobile Tumbler from Christopher Nolan’s 'Dark Knight' trilogy.
Only ten of these meticulously crafted vehicles will be produced, each with a staggering price tag of US$2.99 million, making it one of the most extravagant items available to Batman fans and automotive enthusiasts alike.
In a world where numerous attempts have been made to recreate Batman's famous Tumbler, Warner Bros.' official version surpasses them all, merging exacting design with premium engineering.
Built on a reinforced aerospace-grade tubular chassis, the Tumbler's body is made from carbon fiber, Kevlar, fiberglass, and sheet metal, combining durability and screen-accurate detail. Under the hood, a 6.2-liter LS3 naturally aspirated V8 engine delivers 391kW of power and 659Nm of torque.
This powerhouse, paired with a 4L85E GM transmission and stainless-steel headers, offers formidable performance within its 2499 kg frame—significantly lighter than some full-size pickups.
The Tumbler’s exterior is closely modeled after its cinematic counterpart, including the faux rear jet engine. Although interior photos have yet to be shared, Warner Bros. has suggested customization options, allowing buyers to add personal touches.
Each cockpit will include dual seats with five-point racing harnesses and multiple display panels to recreate Batman’s high-tech environment. Each Tumbler will require approximately 15 months to assemble, reflecting the intricate craftsmanship involved.
Positioned in the hypercar category alongside vehicles like the Aston Martin Valkyrie, the Tumbler targets high-end collectors and dedicated Batman enthusiasts. With only ten available worldwide, Warner Bros. aims to craft a truly exclusive piece of memorabilia for the ultimate 'Dark Knight' fan.
