Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced the cancellation of its planned rally in Peshawar, originally scheduled for November 8, and will instead establish a tent village.

According to party sources, reported by Express News, PTI will create this tent village in Peshawar, with plans to set up another in Swabi after November 10.

Thousands of tents will be erected at the Swabi rest house, accommodating millions of PTI supporters from across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Party leaders, including Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, along with ministers and members of the National and Provincial Assemblies, are also expected to stay at the tent village.

Sources indicate that there is a possibility of party workers residing in the tent village marching towards Islamabad, although the final decision regarding this will be made by the central leadership.

PTI leader Arbab Asim mentioned that the decision to replace the Peshawar rally with the tent village was made to facilitate participation from across the country.

Additionally, a gathering is planned where the Chief Minister and central and provincial leaders will address attendees. The final date for the tent village remains undecided due to a concurrent religious gathering.
