'Operation of Thar food, lodges to be outsourced'

KARACHI:

Minister of Energy, Development and Planning, Nasir Hussain Shah has said that the housing and food facilities of Thar Lodges, an accommodation meant for domestic and foreign investors of Sindh Coal Authority, will be outsourced to ensure provision of better services.

Shah directed the Secretary Energy Department to review all the legal points in this regard and submit suggestions.

The minister said that he would not tolerate any kind of corruption, violation of law and abuse of authority by any employee in the department. He urged on formulation of committee on rules and regulations for the promotion and recruitment of employees, ensuring merit and transparency.
