Transit bails of central PTI leaders granted

PHC instructed them to appear before the relevant courts by November 14

PESHAWAR:

The Peshawar High Court has granted transit bail requests for PTI Central Information Secretary Waqas Akram Sheikh, Naeem Haider Panjutha, and journalist Sami Ibrahim, instructing them to appear before the relevant courts by November 14.

The hearing was conducted by the single bench of Justice Waqar Ahmad. Advocate Alam Khan Adeenzai represented Waqas Akram Sheikh, Naeem Haider Panjutha, and journalist Sami Ibrahim, informing the court that cases were registered against his clients in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, and they wished to appear in the respective courts, requesting transit bail for this purpose.

The court approved their requests for transit bail and directed them to appear before the relevant courts by November 14. In a separate hearing, a two-member bench comprising Justice Ijaz Anwar and Justice Syed Arshad Ali reviewed the protective bail request filed by Waqas Akram Sheikh.
