The price of 24 karat gold in Pakistan decreased by Rs700, bringing it down to Rs287,200 per tola on Thursday.
In the international market, gold prices also experienced a decline, decreasing by $7 to $2,777 from $2,784.
The price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also fell by Rs600, now standing at Rs246,228, compared to Rs.246,828 earlier. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold decreased to Rs.225,709 from Rs.226,259.
In contrast, silver prices saw an increase. The price of per tola silver rose by Rs100, reaching Rs3,450, while the price of 10 grams of silver went up by Rs85.73 to Rs2,957.81. One gram of silver is now priced at Rs.311.22.
Earlier yesterday the price of gold reached Rs287,900 per tola, while 10 grams of 24K gold was being traded at Rs246,828. In the international market, gold was priced at $2,784.
The silver rate stood at Rs3,630 per tola, with 10 grams of silver available for Rs3,112.2. One gram of silver priced at Rs 311.22.
