Reports surfaced this weekend linking Chicago rapper Lil Durk and five members of his OTF (Only The Family) crew to an alleged murder-for-hire plot.
Durk’s potential legal consequences are serious; if found guilty, he could face life in prison or even the death penalty.
The charges connect to the 2022 death of Saviay’a "Lul Pab" Robinson, the cousin of rapper Quando Rondo, reportedly in a retaliatory attack after the death of King Von. However, reports suggest "Lul Pab" was not the intended target – Quando Rondo was.
In a twist that’s added fuel to the story, it’s rumored that an OTF affiliate, Jam, currently serving a 12-year sentence for attempted murder, may have acted as an informant, allegedly wearing a wire and providing authorities with details about the plot.
Jam is now reportedly back in custody, facing further questioning over the murder-for-hire allegations. Clips of Jam in an interrogation room, shared by DJ Akademiks, show him eating McDonald's, with Akademiks prompting followers to add captions, sparking a flood of internet responses.
Social media humor quickly followed, with fans riffing on the fast-food image. Comments included, “Bro snitched on Durk for a Big Mac and fries,” and “He told for a Kai Cenat meal.” Another added, "You’re probably wondering how I got here." The jokes reveal how, even in serious circumstances, fans and trolls often turn to humor.
