This win gave the Kiwis a 2-0 lead in the three-match series.

Virat Kohli’s struggle against Kiwi spinner Mitchell Santner continued, as he was dismissed for just 12 runs.

In their second innings, New Zealand scored 255 runs, leaving India with a challenging target.
