Court orders execution of K-P CM's arrest warrant

Court has turned down K-P CM Gandapur's request of exemption from appearance in weapon and liquor recovery case

ISLAMABAD:

Islamabad court has turned down K-P Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur's request of exemption from appearance in weapon and liquor recovery case. Besides, the court also maintained his arrest warrant in the case.

During the hearing conducted by Senior Civil Judge Mubashir Hasan Chishti, Gandapur's lawyer requested the court to accept his client's request of exemption from court appearance and cancel his warrant. He argued that his client was being implicated in the case while there were no evidences against him.

The judge directed Gandapur's lawyer to submit a written request then he will issue order on it.
