Gold prices rebound by Rs2,000 per tola locally as international rates rise

Gold prices in Pakistan surged to Rs284,300 per tola amid gains in international markets

Gold prices in Pakistan saw surge as international bullion rates also experienced an uptick.

The price per tola of 24-carat gold rose by Rs2,000, reaching Rs284,300 in local markets.

Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs1,714, bringing it to Rs243,741.

This price hike followed a $22 rise in the international bullion market, where gold reached $2,748 per ounce, impacting local rates.

In contrast, silver prices remained steady in the local market. The per tola silver rate held at Rs3,350, with the price of 10-gram silver unchanged at Rs2,872.08.

Yesterday, gold prices recorded a decline for the second consecutive day in global and local markets.

In the international bullion market the price of gold per ounce fell by $8 to reach $2,726.

Meanwhile, in local gold markets, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs800 to Rs282,300.

The price for 10 grams also dropped by Rs686 to Rs24,2027.

In contrast to the decline in gold prices, the price of silver per tola remained stable at Rs3,350.

The price for 10 grams of silver also remained unchanged at Rs2,872.08.
