The Railways Police have dismissed two officers from service for their involvement in corruption and dereliction in duties.

According to Railways Police handout, the retrenched officers include Karachi Division's office superintendent Faiz Rasool and Sukkur Division's head clerk Adeel Moeen.

Besides, orders have been issued for the detailed inquiry against DG South's private secretary Fazal Mehmood on the charges of corruption.

Following the special orders of Railways Police IG, the divisional SPs terminated several employees for their involvement in corruption and showing negligence in duties.
