'No official number plates on private vehicles'

KARACHI:

Sindh government has announced a crackdown on the use of official number plates on private vehicles.

Senior Minister and Minister for Information, Excise, Taxation, and Transport, Sharjeel Inam Memon issued this directive at a meeting. Secretary Excise Muhammad Saleem Rajput and DG Excise Aurangzeb Panhwar, along with other department officers were in attendance. During the meeting, it was reported that the Department of Excise has successfully collected 34% of the annual tax revenue within just three months and 15 days.
