Billionaire investor and former 'Shark Tank' host Mark Cuban weighed in on the 2024 presidential race, claiming that Vice President Kamala Harris is campaigning more against Elon Musk than against former President Donald Trump.

“It’s the Harris campaign versus Elon, not even versus Trump,” Cuban said during an appearance on CNBC’s 'Squawk Box' on Monday. Cuban, a supporter of Harris, framed her as the better pro-business candidate while throwing shade at Musk's involvement in the race.

Cuban took a swipe at Musk over his recent promise to give $1 million per day to the winner of a swing-state voter sweepstakes, calling the move "innovative" but also "desperate."

He further remarked that the sweepstakes “just as easily could backfire,” but admitted, “you don’t know until you try.”

Despite their back-and-forth, Cuban predicted that Harris could “100%” mend her relationship with Musk if she wins the election.

Musk, who has donated tens of millions to a pro-Trump super PAC, has been a prominent surrogate for Trump's campaign.

Cuban and Musk have exchanged jabs on social media, with Musk mocking Cuban’s appearance and Cuban replying, “You can’t stop thinking about me @elonmusk Can you?”

On CNBC, Cuban doubled down on his support for Harris, touting her commitment to not raising taxes for Americans earning less than $400,000 and her focus on reducing health care costs. "She has come out and talked about it. Donald Trump hasn’t said a word,” Cuban said, contrasting her stance with Trump's.

Cuban also criticized Trump's immigration and tariff policies, labeling Trump’s approach to mass deportation and the use of sweeping tariffs as detrimental to small businesses.

“That’s not how you can run a country,” he stated, while praising Harris’ business-friendly proposals.
