A new lawsuit claims rapper Sean Diddy Combs allegedly sexually assaulted a Los Angeles businessman at a party in 2022, before an unnamed athlete stepped in to resolve the situation. The founder of Bad Boy Records has been in custody since his September 16 arrest.
This lawsuit is one of five new cases filed against Combs on Sunday, October 20, accusing him of sexual assault and rape. These cases were filed anonymously through attorneys Andrew Van Arsdale and Tony Buzbee. The legal team also filed six other lawsuits against Combs last week and stated they would represent 120 alleged victims of the rapper over time.
In one lawsuit, obtained by Daily Mail Online, an anonymous businessman from Los Angeles accused Combs of alleged sexual assault. The businessman, who reportedly owns a jewelry and luxury car business, claimed he had frequently done business with the rapper.
The alleged incident took place at a 2022 promotional event for Combs' Ciroc vodka brand, where the plaintiff said he had been invited. According to the accuser, Combs was "acting strangely" while intoxicated.
"Combs began awkwardly moving closer to Plaintiff. As he did so, Combs removed his pants and exposed his genitals to Plaintiff. Combs continued to move closer and then grabbed Plaintiff’s genitals through his pants, squeezing them in a rough and sexual manner."
The lawsuit continued: "Plaintiff, shocked and disoriented, frozen momentarily and did not know how to respond to the weirdly inappropriate sexual advance made by Combs," the lawsuit said.
The lawsuit further alleged that the incident "escalated" before a professional A-lister athlete intervened, stopping the situation. The accuser then reportedly fled Combs' office, left the party, and went home.
The plaintiff is seeking a trial by jury and compensatory damages for the emotional distress and trauma caused by the incident.
In another of the five lawsuits filed against Combs, the rapper is accused of allegedly drugging and raping a 13-year-old girl at a house party in 2000. The alleged incident occurred after the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards and reportedly involved two unnamed music industry celebrities.
