Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari,  daughter of the late prime minister Benazir Bhutto and President Asif Ali Zardari, has named her third son after her maternal grandfather, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.

On Tuesday, Bakhtawar and her husband, businessman Mahmood Chaudhry, shared the news via a Instagram post, announcing that they had chosen to name their newborn "Mir Zulfiqar Mahmood Chaudhry."

In the post, Bakhtawar wrote,“In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. May this name be a blessing to him and bring him good health and fortune. O Allah, make him a child of compassion and love. Guide him on the path of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and spread his light of wisdom and benevolence in this world.”

Bakhtawar gave birth to her third child on Monday and took to Instagram to announce the arrival of her "third baby boy." The couple previously welcomed their first son in October 2021 and their second son in October 2022.

Bakhtawar married Mahmood Chaudhry in a ceremony on 29 January 2021.
