Police arrested four suspects involved in aerial firing and recovered weapons at a wedding function in D-type colony. According to police report, armed suspects were firing in the air at a wedding ceremony in Asim Town Street No. 6 of Police Station D Type Colony.

Meanwhile, the in-charge investigation SHO Zahid Khan reached the spot and arrested the four accused along with the weapons and registered a case.

Meanwhile, robbers involved in a street crime in Jaranwala managed to escape after a police encounter. The robbers, riding a motorcycle, snatched Rs300,000 and mobile phones from Imran and other passersby near Gulair Mor Block Park in the Jaranwala area. A team arrived at the scene. The robbers opened fire on the police. Police fire in retaliation, but robbers managed to escape. Upon receiving information about the encounter, police officers arrived and conducted a search operation, but the robbers could not be apprehended.

In different incidents, three people including a shopkeeper were shot and injured to avenge an old grudge, the injured were shifted to the hospital after receiving medical aid.

Accused Zeeshan asked for bread from a thirty-year-old Amir Hasan who runs a food shop in Chak 67 in the limits of Balochni police station. The shopkeeper Amir Hussain did not give him the bread due to a grudge, Zeeshan shot him.
