Murder: 1 killed, 1 injured in drive-by shooting
two brothers Hafiz Naveed and Asif were at their shop when armed men on a motorcycle opened fire on them.

Several armed men opened fire on a shop and killed a youth and injured his brother on Sunday. Dozens of shopkeepers in the district have protested against the incident and observed a shutter down strike in this regard. The incident occurred on Sargodha Road near Bawa Chak, where two brothers Hafiz Naveed and Asif were at their shop when armed men on a motorcycle opened fire on them. Naveed died on the spot and his brother was severely injured. The accused managed to flee from the scene. Shopkeepers protested against the killing and blocked Sargodha road demanding the immediate arrest of the accused. Police have shifted the body to hospital for an autopsy. Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
