Imran Khan rebukes PTI leaders during Adiala Jail meeting: sources

‘I told you to protest during the SCO summit, but none of you acted on it… None of you have been of any use to me’

ISLAMABAD:

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan reportedly criticised party leaders during their visit to Adiala Jail, expressing frustration over their failure to follow his instructions, according to jail sources.

A PTI delegation, led by Barrister Gohar, visited Imran Khan to consult on constitutional amendments, but the meeting did not go as planned. Sources claim Khan gave the leaders a stern reprimand, saying, "None of you have been of any use to me."

Khan expressed disappointment with the PTI’s recent activities, stating, "I gave you a plan to get me out of here, but no one followed it." He criticised the party for failing to keep protests going, noting that all demonstrations had been unsuccessful.

"I told you to protest during the SCO summit, but none of you acted on it," Khan reportedly told the leaders, adding, "If you don’t implement the plan I’ve given, I won’t be able to get out."

The meeting between Imran Khan and the PTI delegation was cut short, with sources indicating that it ended without a clear resolution.

This follows claims from Adiala Jail authorities refuting allegations of mistreatment, asserting that Khan is receiving all B-Class facilities, including uninterrupted electricity, meals, and daily exercise.
