CTD eliminates terrorists in Mianwali operation
Earlier in Mianwali, the CTD launched a decisive operation near the Makarlwal hills, resulting in the elimination of seven suspected terrorists. Acting on previously received intelligence reports, the CTD conducted the raid, targeting militants allegedly linked to extremist factions.
Reports had indicated the presence of militants in the area, prompting local residents to inform authorities two days prior. The CTD recovered a cache of weapons, including Kalashnikov rifles, explosives, and ammunition.
A fierce gun battle ensued between security forces and terrorists, culminating in the death of the seven suspects. The bodies have been transferred to a hospital for identification.
CTD claims major terror plot foiled in Punjab

During these operations, 69 suspects were interrogated, and 9 terrorists were arrested. Weapons, explosives, and other prohibited materials were recovered during the raids.
