Peshawar High Court on Friday approved the transit bail applications of opposition leader in the National Assembly, Umar Ayub, Advisor Information K-P Barrister Saif, Special Assistant to CM, Mishaal Yousafzai, former provincial minister Wazir Zada, and journalist Sami Ibrahim and directed them to appear in the relevant courts by November 7.
Chief Justice Peshawar High Court, Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim, heard the application for transit bail submitted by Umar Ayub. The applicant's lawyer informed the court that the applicant wishes to appear in the relevant courts but there are concerns about potential arrest.
The court approved Umar Ayub's transit bail and instructed him to appear in the relevant courts by November 7. Similarly, Chief Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim conducted the hearing of the transit bail of Advisor Information Barrister Saif, Special Assistant Mishaal Yousafzai, Wazir Zada, Sami Ibrahim, and YouTuber Jameel Farooqi.
The applicants' lawyer informed the court that their clients wished to appear in the courts, hence a transit bail is requested. The court approved their transit bail application and directed them to appear in the relevant courts by November 7.
