Kick streamer Adin Ross is once again at the center of controversy, this time involving Naima Troutt, a participant in a viral video by the popular YouTube channel Jubilee.
The feud began when Ross attempted to arrange a debate between Troutt, who identifies as liberal, and far-right commentator Nick Fuentes. Troutt, who gained attention in Jubilee's video titled 'Can 25 Liberal College Students Outsmart 1 Conservative?', rejected Ross’ offer of $20,000 to engage in the debate, sparking a public conflict.
Troutt took to TikTok on October 17, 2024, to explain her decision, stating: “I said no, for several reasons but the biggest one is that he is a white supremacist.” She added that debating Fuentes would give legitimacy to harmful ideologies, a stance she firmly opposed. Troutt also mocked Ross’ attempt to pay her for the debate, remarking, “It’s kind of hilarious that Adin Ross tried to pay a girl $20,000... and she still said no.”
Ross responded during his October 18 stream, attacking Troutt personally by commenting on her appearance and living conditions, implying she needed the money. He also suggested that her rejection would harm her relevance once the political climate changes, dismissing her as a “feminist hype.”
This is not the first time Ross has sought to set up debates involving controversial figures, having previously organized a debate between Nick Fuentes and Jubilee participant Dean Withers.
