Controversial Diddy Halloween costumes emerge as mogul remains jailed on sex trafficking charges
The charges against Sean "Diddy" Combs are grave, with allegations ranging from racketeering conspiracy to sex trafficking.
Yet, despite the severity of his legal troubles, vendors are reportedly capitalizing on his controversial image.
According to TMZ, small businesses have rolled out Halloween costumes and apparel inspired by the 54-year-old artist, who is currently behind bars.
One particular shirt depicts Diddy dressed as "The Riddler," referencing the "Diddler" nickname he's earned in recent years.
In the design, Diddy is shown wearing green attire similar to the Batman villain while holding a bottle of baby oil—an unsettling nod to the over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant found in his homes by federal investigators.
Other merchandise includes reimagined baby oil bottles labeled "Diddy's" instead of "Johnson's," and even a parody of the video game *Luigi’s Mansion* titled 'Diddy’s Mansion' with the mogul’s photo on the cover.
Adding to the wave of themed merchandise, one TikTok user shared a video wearing a mask of Diddy's face, holding a bottle of baby oil, and captioning it: “How I’m pulling up to everyone’s Halloween party in 2024.”
However, while some find humor in the situation, the backstory is far from amusing.
Diddy, arrested in September, remains behind bars after multiple bail denials. Houston-based attorney Tony Buzbee, representing 120 clients pursuing civil litigation against Diddy for sex crimes, also revealed that a hotline he opened received over 12,000 calls in just 24 hours, underscoring the seriousness of the allegations.
