For her very first Halloween party, Klum set the tone with a punk-meets-S&M look. Wearing a black latex dirndl—a nod to her German heritage—paired with dog collars, armbands, and braids, Klum’s debut Halloween costume was daring, though tame by her later standards.

In 2002, Klum paid homage to the Depression-era cartoon icon Betty Boop. While the look could easily be replicated with a figure-hugging red dress, black curly wig, and bold red lips, Klum took things up a notch by adding fake cleavage to perfect her Boop-inspired silhouette.

Klum didn’t just dress as the animated bombshell Jessica Rabbit—she embodied her. With the help of prosthetics, Klum transformed herself into the iconic character, complete with exaggerated curves. Though not the most original idea (even Alessandra Ambrosio showed up in a similar costume), Klum's commitment to a full-body makeover made her stand out.
