Salman Khan's fate will be 'worse than Baba Siddiqui's': Lawernce Bishnoi threatens

Bishnoi group demanded over $600,000 to end feud with Bollywood star in a WhatsApp message

News Desk October 18, 2024

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has received another threatening message from the Lawrence Bishnoi group, demanding over $600,000 to end their feud.

The warning was sent via a WhatsApp message, stating that if the money is not paid, Khan’s fate “will be worse than that of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddiqui.”

The message indicated that the Bollywood star had previously been threatened with death by the Bishnoi group, and this latest threat was reported to the Mumbai traffic police.

The WhatsApp text cautioned, “Do not take this lightly. If Salman Khan wants to stay alive and end his feud with Lawrence Bishnoi, he must pay ₹50 million ($602,410). If the money is not paid, his condition will be worse than Baba Siddiqui’s.”

According to sources, the Mumbai police are working to verify the authenticity of this message, and security around Salman Khan's residence in Bandra has been increased.

This is not the first time Salman Khan has faced threats from the Bishnoi gang.

In 2022, a threatening letter was found near his residence, and in March 2023, an email was allegedly sent by gang members.

In January 2024, two unidentified individuals attempted to break into Khan’s farmhouse in Panvel using fake identities, leading to heightened security measures for the actor.

Yesterday, Somi Ali, former girlfriend of Salman Khan and a women's rights activist, invited Lawrence Bishnoi to a Zoom call.

The America-based activist turned to social media to initiate a conversation with Bishnoi, who has threatened to kill the Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.

Lawrence Bishnoi is currently imprisoned in Sabarmati Jail.

Somi invited him for a chat, stating, "You are even having Zoom calls from jail."

Somi shared a photo of Lawrence Bishnoi on her Instagram account, captioning it with a direct message:

"Namaste, Lawrence bhai! I've heard and seen that you are making Zoom calls from jail, so I have a few things to discuss with you. Please let me know how this is possible?"
