50-year-old Shah Rukh Khan named 10th most handsome man globally

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has achieved the remarkable feat of being named among the world's top 10 most handsome men, a list compiled by renowned facial cosmetic surgeon Dr Julian De Silva.

This recognition marks Shah Rukh Khan as the only Indian actor to make the prestigious list, further solidifying his status as an icon in the entertainment industry, as reported by Express news.

Dr De Silva's research employed the ancient Golden Ratio concept, a mathematical ratio that has long been associated with beauty and aesthetics.

By analysing the facial features of various celebrities, the surgeon assessed their facial harmony, ranking them according to their compliance with this ratio.

Shah Rukh Khan secured the tenth position with an impressive score of 86.76%.

In his evaluation, Dr De Silva highlighted Shah Rukh Khan's nearly perfect nose, which scored 98.8%, and his high chin score of 95%.

However, his scores were slightly lower for other features, including eye spacing (89%), the distance between his nose and upper lip (89.6%), and lip proportions (86%).

The Golden Ratio, which is approximately 1.618 (Phi), is revered in art and design for its aesthetic appeal.

This ratio was famously applied by Leonardo da Vinci in his depiction of the Vitruvian Man, illustrating the ideal human body proportions.

Shah Rukh Khan’s inclusion on this prestigious list continues a legacy of accolades; he was previously named the sexiest Asian man by Eastern Eye in 2007 and was recognised by TIME magazine as one of the most influential people in the world last year.

Despite being in his 50s, Khan's charm and charisma remain undiminished, captivating audiences of all ages from teenagers to seniors alike.

Meanwhile, British actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson clinched the top spot in the list with an outstanding score of 93.04%.

He was followed by Lucien Laviscount in second place, scoring 92.41%, and Paul Mescal in third with 92.38%.

Other notable names in the list include Robert Pattinson (92.15%) and George Clooney, who, despite his age, ranked sixth with a score of 89.9%.

Shah Rukh Khan is currently gearing up for his upcoming film King, which features his daughter, Suhana Khan, showcasing a unique father-daughter collaboration.

This film promises to add yet another chapter to Khan’s illustrious career.

SRK signals shift to comedy films

Earlier, the actor expressed interest in exploring the comedy genre. In a recent episode of the podcast Locarno Meets, Khan shared his desire to transition from action films to comedy.

The actor has showcased his comedic talent in hits such as Baadshah, KKKG, Chennai Express, and Happy New Year.

"I was really happy that after 30 years of working in the film industry, I got to live my dream of doing an action film. Maybe after six months, I would like to do comedy, a little gentle film," he remarked.
