KARACHI:

Pakistan Customs has busted a smuggling attempt at the Jinnah International Terminal, confiscating a parcel containing ice crystal powder at the International Mail Office.

According to Additional Collector, Customs officials were tipped off about a parcel disguised as books, which was booked from Hyderabad to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, under the name of Mujahid Javed.

Customs officials stepped up surveillance at the International Mail Office which led to the scanning of a suspicious parcel, yielding one kilo of ice, valued at Rs15 million in the international market, concealed.
