Adin Ross cancels Lieutenant Dan’s Kick streaming deal

Streamer Adin Ross cancels Lieutenant Dan’s deal after controversy, offering the contract to a friend for IRL streams.

Kick streamer Adin Ross has announced that he is no longer offering Lieutenant Dan a livestreaming deal. 

Joseph Malinowski, better known as Lieutenant Dan, went viral on social media on October 10, after surviving Hurricane Milton in Florida on a boat. Following the event, Ross reached out to him via video call and offered a Kick contract along with a new boat worth up to $100,000.

However, on October 11, rumors surfaced suggesting Ross was reconsidering the deal due to Lieutenant Dan's criminal history. Despite initially stating that he would still provide the boat, Ross has now changed course regarding the livestreaming offer. 

On October 14, Ross revealed that the Kick deal would go to Terrence, a friend of Lieutenant Dan. Ross explained, "I am no longer giving Lieutenant Dan a Kick deal, but I’m giving the deal to Terrence. Terrence is going to go around Tampa, IRL streaming, and help out homeless people and those in need."

Ross also mentioned that Terrence would receive a daily budget to support his charitable livestreams, stating, "We’re going to give him a budget every day to go IRL streaming, give out, and bless people."

Although Lieutenant Dan will no longer receive the livestreaming contract, Ross confirmed that he still intends to provide the boat, emphasizing, "We still want to help Lieutenant Dan, known as Joe, by giving him a boat... but we want to ensure he’s staying sober and doing it the right way."

As of now, Lieutenant Dan has not responded to Ross' decision to revoke the Kick deal.
