Camila Cabello responded to rumors of being the subject of Sabrina Carpenter’s diss track.

Camila Cabello addressed speculation regarding a rumored love triangle with Sabrina Carpenter and Shawn Mendes during her appearance on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast. While participating in a live episode of Cooper's "Unwell Tour," Cabello responded to the question, “Never have I ever had a song written about me.” She quipped, "Sometimes I have written them. Sometimes they have been written about me. You’re welcome, motherf*****s."

This comes amid ongoing rumors that Carpenter's latest album, Short n' Sweet, contains tracks inspired by her relationship with Mendes and his past with Cabello. The songs Taste and Coincidence have been particularly scrutinized by fans, who believe the lyrics reference the unconfirmed love triangle. In Taste, Carpenter sings, "I heard you're back together and if that's true / You'll just have to taste me when he's kissin' you."

Neither Carpenter nor Mendes have confirmed their relationship, though they were reportedly linked in February 2023. Cabello and Mendes previously dated from 2019 to 2021 and briefly reunited in 2023. Despite their breakup, Mendes recently spoke about maintaining a close bond with Cabello, stating on the On Purpose podcast, "I think Camila and I have just done the best job at preserving our private lives."
