In a heartfelt ceremony, the father-daughter duo unveiled the Chowk dedicated to Sridevi, known for her iconic roles in films like Mr. India, Chandni, and Judaai.

A video shared on Instagram shows Boney lifting the curtain covering a photo frame of Sridevi, while Khushi stood by his side.

The ceremony drew a crowd, with attendees clapping in honor of the late actress's legacy.

Boney and Khushi expressed their gratitude for the support from fans and the film industry, which continues to celebrate Sridevi's remarkable contributions.

Political leaders and industry veterans attended the event.

While Janhvi Kapoor was absent, veteran stars such as Shabana Azmi, Anupam Kher, and Poonam Dhillon attended the occasion.

Sridevi's last appearance was in a cameo for the 2018 film Zero, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Anushka Sharma. Her final leading role was in the critically acclaimed film Mom (2017), which also featured Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

The beloved actress tragically lost her life on February 24, 2018, due to accidental drowning in a hotel room in Dubai. The inauguration of Sridevi Chowk stands as a testament to her enduring influence on Bollywood and the hearts of her fans.
