Music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs is struggling to adjust to life in prison, with his attorney Marc Agnifilo stating that the food has been one of the hardest parts for him. “I think the food’s probably the roughest part of it,” Agnifilo told reporters after a status conference at a federal courthouse in Manhattan on October 10, 2024. Combs, currently housed at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center, is awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. His trial date has been set for May 5, 2025.

Combs' daily schedule includes breakfast at 6:00 a.m., followed by lunch at 11:00 a.m. and dinner after the 4 p.m. headcount. Meals consist of dishes like hamburgers, fish, beef tacos, and "heart-healthy" options such as lentils and tofu.

In court, Combs appeared motionless, dressed in tan prison clothing, and acknowledged his family and lawyers with a wave. His mother flew in from Florida, and his children attended to show their support. A source told PEOPLE, “The kids were very happy to support their father... they are united in their support.”

Prosecutors are currently extracting data from Combs' devices, describing the amount as "extraordinary." His attorneys have filed appeals after two bail requests were denied, citing the risk of witness tampering. Combs is accused of organizing coercive sex performances, with federal prosecutors detailing the alleged incidents in the indictment.
