Security measures for Dr Zakir Naik's visit reviewed

Strict security arrangements were made in the provincial capital on the arrival of renowned religious scholar Dr. Zakir Naik.

DIG Operations Muhammad Faisal Kamran, visited the guest's routes and residence. He also reviewed the security arrangements at Ravi Road and its surroundings. DIG Operations inspected the security arrangements around the Jamia Masjid Ahl-e-Hadith on Ravi Road.

Muhammad Faisal Kamran said that Dr. Zakir Naik is a guest of Pakistan and is being provided with state guest-level security. Elite Force commanders, along with a large number of police personnel, have been deployed for security. DIG Operations, Muhammad Faisal Kamran, further stated that full security would be provided for all of Dr. Zakir Naik's programs in Lahore.

Additionally, Lahore police made strict security arrangements regarding Friday prayers. Security around more than 5,000 mosques in the city was further tightened.
