Anti-harassment committees for schools urged

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has agreed to form special committees for the eradication of harassment in the girls' schools.

During a meeting with a delegation of female students, it was also agreed to celebrate International Girls' Day in the schools of Punjab.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced that computer tabs and e-bikes would be given to female students. She apprised the delegation about the Women's.Virtual Police Station, Pink Button and Safety App.

She apprised the students about the details of 'Chief Minister School Meal Programme and said, "We are introducing scholarships, laptops, e-bikes and other projects for the students of Punjab."

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said in her message on World Mental Health Day, "We are working to ensure provision of required facilities for mental health in Punjab."
