Former bodyguard Gene Deal alleges Diddy groomed Usher during teen years

Gene Deal has made allegations, claiming the music mogul groomed Usher during his teenage years.

New allegations have surfaced involving Sean "Diddy" Combs and R&B singer Usher, sparking controversy across the internet. In an interview on The Art of Dialogue, Diddy’s former bodyguard, Gene Deal, claimed that the Bad Boy Records founder groomed Usher when the singer was a teenager.

During the interview, Deal reflected on Usher’s earlier comments made during his appearance on Club Shay Shay in January 2024, where Usher briefly spoke about his time under Diddy's mentorship in the 1990s at “Flavor Camp.” However, Deal believes Usher withheld the full truth about his time living with Diddy.
 

Deal also referenced Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones' sexual harassment lawsuit against Diddy, suggesting that an unnamed R&B artist mentioned in the lawsuit, who allegedly participated in group sex with Diddy and other celebrities, could potentially be Usher. As of now, there is no confirmed evidence linking Usher to the allegations in the lawsuit.

The bodyguard further alleged that during Usher’s time at "Flavor Camp," he was exposed to inappropriate encounters with older women. Deal recounted one particular incident involving Usher and Diddy at the Swiss Hotel, where Usher allegedly kissed a woman after she engaged in sexual activity with Diddy.

These claims add to the mounting controversies surrounding Diddy, though none of Deal’s accusations have been proven. Usher, who previously downplayed the “wild” experiences at Flavor Camp during a 2016 interview on The Howard Stern Show, has not yet commented on the latest claims.

While these accusations remain unverified, they have brought renewed scrutiny to Diddy’s past relationships and his influence on younger artists, including Usher.
