Hezbollah rockets shake Haifa and Tiberias

Israel’s military base in the south targeted, injuring 10 people and some property damaged

Hezbollah fired rockets at Haifa, Israel’s third-largest city, early Monday, injuring ten people in northern Israel, according to Israeli police and media reports.

Hezbollah stated that it targeted a military base south of Haifa using "Fadi 1" missiles. Reports indicated that two rockets struck Haifa on the Mediterranean coast, while five others landed in Tiberias, about 65 km (40 miles) away.

The rockets caused property damage, and there were several reports of minor injuries. Some people were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Surveillance footage captured the moment of impact in Haifa, and Reuters independently verified the location by matching the building designs, business signs, trees, and road layout with satellite imagery and existing files of the area.

Reuters also confirmed the date through corroborating reports and the footage’s timestamp.

In retaliation, the Israeli military conducted airstrikes on Hezbollah’s Intelligence Headquarters in Beirut, targeting command centres, intelligence-gathering equipment, and other infrastructure. The strikes led to secondary explosions, indicating that weapons were present.

The military also hit Hezbollah’s weapon storage facilities in Beirut, along with additional sites in southern Lebanon and the Beqaa region, including a command center and a rocket launcher.
