Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes have opted out of Bravo's forthcoming reality show centered around the wives and girlfriends of the Kansas City Chiefs.

According to an exclusive source who spoke to PEOPLE, both Swift and Mahomes are steering clear of the project. "Taylor and Brittany are not part of the show at all and will not even be filmed," the source stated, adding that Swift is "very protective of what little private life she has left."

Swift, who is dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, is said to enjoy her interactions with the women she has met through her relationship, but she will not be involved in Bravo’s production.

The reality show, which is currently in development, focuses on the WAGs supporting the Super Bowl-winning team, though the final cast has not yet been confirmed. Potential cast members include Chariah Gordon, fiancée of Mecole Hardman Jr., and Sheawna Weathersby, the mother of two children with defensive tackle Chris Jones, according to another source.

The series is still in the early stages, and Bravo is evaluating whether the concept can be expanded into a full series. A pilot was reportedly filmed during the NFL offseason, with limited appearances from Chiefs players.

The storyline primarily focuses on the lives of Gordon, Weathersby, and their circle, shedding light on the challenges of being partners to professional athletes.
