Cop shot dead over property dispute

A police officer was shot and killed over a property dispute in the Mauripur area on Saturday.

A police officer was shot and killed over a property dispute in the Mauripur area on Saturday.

Sharing details, Keamari SSP said 33-year-old Mohsin had just left home for duty when suspect Amanullah opened fire, killing him on the spot. A Sher Shah police party tried to stop the suspect, who opened fire while trying to escape. The police fired back, injuring Amanullah, who was then arrested. A car used by the suspect and a 9mm pistol were also seized.
