Aamir Khan declares himself Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘biggest fan’ with wedding card surprise

Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan is set to celebrate his 82nd birthday on October 11, and in honour of the occasion, his long-time admirer Aamir Khan, along with his son Junaid Khan, has planned a heartwarming surprise on the set of the popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati.

The show’s creators have shared teaser clips, offering fans a glimpse of what promises to be an unforgettable episode.

In one of the promos, Aamir takes the hot seat and playfully quizzes Amitabh on a personal detail, asking, “Do you remember your wedding date?” Amitabh confidently replies, “June 3, 1973.”

However, when Aamir challenges him to prove it, the veteran actor appears briefly puzzled. To everyone’s amusement, Aamir then produces Amitabh’s wedding invitation with Jaya Bachchan, proudly declaring, “I’ve proved I’m your number one fan.”

The moment leaves Amitabh in laughter, highlighting the camaraderie between the two actors.

Another teaser shows Aamir and his son Junaid sneaking onto the set, whispering to the camera, “Amit ji shouldn’t know we’re coming today.”

Aamir has long been vocal about his admiration for Amitabh. During a recent event, he shared a story about Amitabh’s dedication during a shoot for a Prakash Mehra film, recounting how the legendary actor meticulously rehearsed a scene despite already delivering multiple takes.

Aamir noted, “Even without monitors, Amit ji was completely absorbed in perfecting the moment.”

The two stars have previously worked together in the 2018 film Thugs of Hindustan, though it failed to make an impact at the box office.

Amitabh, who was last seen in the box office hit Kalki 2898 AD, is also gearing up for the release of his next film Vettaiyan, co-starring Rajinikanth, on October 10.
