Nicki Minaj celebrated her son’s fourth birthday with heartfelt posts on Instagram and Twitter, sharing sweet messages for her “Papa Bear.”
One of these posts included a picture of her son and husband, Kenneth Petty, playing together. However, a fan found the post to be ill-timed, commenting, "Only you could make your child birthday about a man." That’s when Minaj decided to unleash a strong rebuttal.
The rapper responded with a detailed, bullet-pointed list explaining why the fan's comment was off the mark. She didn’t hold back, starting her reply with, "Dear weak loser," and accusing the fan of projecting their own unhappiness onto others. Minaj wrote, "Tweeting about someone else’s bday b/c you have nothing to rejoice about in your own sad existence."
In her response, Minaj defended her decision to include Petty in the post, reminding the critic that Kenneth Petty is not just any man but her son’s father. "His father, my husband," she emphasized. "Not a man, you funky piece of filth."
She also pointed out that the post took just a second of the day and did not take away from the celebration of her son’s birthday.
Minaj continued her tirade, further attacking the fan with more insults. She concluded by listing her career accomplishments and plugging her upcoming St. Louis concert. Fans of Nicki Minaj’s infamous clapbacks were certainly in for a show.
