Payne, 31, recently revealed in a Snapchat video that he planned to reunite with his former One Direction bandmate, saying, "We’ve got a lot to talk about, and I would like to square up a couple things with the boy." While Payne assured fans there were “no bad vibes,” his appearance outside the hotel and interaction with Horan’s fans led many to question his behavior.

One fan voiced concern on social media, writing, “This man genuinely needs psychological help and I mean that with the most care and concern I could possibly have for Liam Payne in 2024.” Another added, “Going to a hotel where your ex-band member is staying at, & proceeding to take pics with HIS FANS outside of the hotel is just crazy work.”

This incident follows Payne’s recent admission of mental health struggles. In July 2023, he shared in a YouTube video that he had sought treatment and apologized for previous comments made about his former bandmates during Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast. Despite excitement about the potential reunion, many fans now express concern for both Payne and Horan.
