Sean "Diddy" Combs is making a third attempt to secure his release on bond, two weeks after being arrested on sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and related charges. According to new court filings, Diddy’s legal team has filed an appeal following his previous denied requests for bail. The rap mogul has now added prominent attorneys Anthony Ricco and Alexandra Shapiro to his defense team, aiming to strengthen his case.

Sources close to Diddy told TMZ that Ricco is considered one of the finest trial lawyers in the country, while Shapiro is regarded as a top appellate lawyer. This marks the third formal attempt by Diddy's legal team to secure his release as he awaits trial.

Diddy was arrested by federal agents in New York on September 16, six months after authorities raided his Los Angeles and Miami homes in connection with a sex trafficking investigation. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges, with his lawyer Marc Agnifilo stating, "He is an innocent man with nothing to hide."

Despite offering a $50 million bail package and agreeing to have no female visitors outside his family, U.S. District Judge Andrew Carter denied the request, stating, "The government has proven the defendant is a danger." Diddy remains in custody as his legal team continues to fight for his release.
