Haque Academy wins girls swimming event held at Iqra University campus

Karachi Grammar School swimmers excelled here on Sunday to clinch the PSSO Games 2024 Boys Swimming Championship, held at Iqra University Main Campus.

The talented KGS swimming team gathered an impressive 382 points to lift the trophy in style.

The City School PAF Chapter were declared runner-up while Haque Academy claimed third position in the swimming competitions.

In the girls swimming competitions, Haque Academy emerged as champions with 125 points while the Intellect School finished as runner-up.

Beaconhouse Jubilee Campus claimed third position.

Around 35 schools from across the country participated in 42 events in various age groups and categories. The championship showcased exceptional talent and sportsmanship among Pakistan's young swimmers.

The guests of honour at the PSSO Games Swimming Championship were Fatima Naqvi, Board Member, of American Culture Center, Carl P. Lander, Principal, Karachi Grammar School, Athar Iqbal, Director, Iqra University Airport Campus.

Also present on the occasion were Gohar Raza, President PSSO and Ismail Shah, District Sports Officer East and Sunny Michael, District Sports Officer Malir.
