LeBron James was seen in a resurfaced video declaring, “ain’t no party like a Diddy party,” while chatting with the rapper, who is currently in a Brooklyn federal prison following his recent arrest on sex trafficking charges.

The Lakers star made this comment during an Instagram Live session with Sean “Diddy” Combs four years ago, a moment that has regained attention across social media.

“Hey, everybody know, ain’t no party like a Diddy party,” James said to an enthusiastic Combs in the video that has been circulating online.

“Yeah that’s whats up!” Combs responded energetically.

James, who is now 40, has not made any public statement regarding the resurfaced video since internet investigators brought it to light earlier this week. Additionally, there is no evidence linking the NBA star to any of the alleged crimes involving Combs.

In the indictment that was unsealed, federal prosecutors accused Diddy of organizing “freak off” parties where women were reportedly coerced into performing sexual acts with male sex workers.

The rapper was arrested by Homeland Security Investigations at the Park Hyatt New York on September 16 and now faces federal charges for racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and facilitating prostitution. A Manhattan federal judge denied his request for house arrest, ordering him held without bail at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center.

In another old video that resurfaced, James and Combs can be seen dancing and singing along to a Migos song at a dinner gathering.

In May, James unfollowed the rapper on social media after rumors began to circulate regarding Combs, as reported by the US Sun.

Ellen DeGeneres, in a separate clip from her talk show in February 2018, had once humorously urged Combs to attend one of her parties.

“Are you gonna be early for my party?” DeGeneres asked.

“Yes I am — No,” Combs admitted. “You know I have to arrive fashionably late.”

DeGeneres responded, “Not too late, though. Please.”

Combs then asked, “What time would you like me there?”

“I’ll tell you later,” DeGeneres replied, before adding, “But not too late. ‘Cause, you know, once you get there the party really starts.”

Combs further joked that DeGeneres would end up with blisters on her feet from dancing too much.
