Dow University of Health Sciences has officially released the results of the MDCAT 2024 examination, revealing a success rate of 58.79%.
Out of 38,041 candidates from across Sindh, 22,366 successfully passed the test.
In Karachi, 12,572 candidates appeared for the exam, with 6,947 qualifying for MBBS programmes and 7,941 for BDS programmes.
The MDCAT 2024 test was conducted at two centers in Karachi, namely Dow University of Health Sciences' Ojha Campus and NED University.
Official statistics from Dow University confirm the overall success rate of 58.79% in this year's medical entry test. Across Sindh, MDCAT saw participation from 38,041 candidates, of which 22,366 qualified.
In Karachi's two main centres, 12,572 candidates sat for the exam, with 6,947 eligible for MBBS and 7,941 for BDS.
In addition to Karachi, the exam was also held at various centres across Sindh, including Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences in Jamshoro, Bilawal Sports Complex in Shaheed Benazirabad, the PTS in Larkana, and IBA Public School in Sukkur.
