MQM-P recalls Sept 30 Hyd killings

Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan Chairman Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui paid a profound tribute to the people who lost their lives in the Hyderabad incident on September 30, 1988 on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the massacre.

He remarked that although a long time has passed since the Hyderabad incident, it is still etched in the minds of the affected families. On September 30, 1988, the way individuals filled with love for Pakistan were ruthlessly killed by a mind-set of prejudice and hatred has no parallel in the country. He said armed men in cars went on rampage spraying bullets in the Hyderabad neighbourhoods.
