A policeman was injured when armed muggers opened fire on a police party on Lyari Expressway on Saturday. Rescuers identified the injured as 26-year-old Abbas who was shifted to a hospital on Stadium Road for treatment.
A Shaheen Force team from District East was en route to duty when they spotted motorcycle-riding bandits looting citizens near Sohrab Goth U-turn. As soon as the muggers saw the cops, they opened fire on them, injuring Abbas.
