ISLAMABAD:

Security was heightened at the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP), located in the federal capital's high-security zone, as additional police personnel were deployed outside the court building for the hearing of important cases. This increased security presence was in addition to the usual security measures.

Senior police officers have directed duty officers and officials to maintain utmost vigilance, emphasising the high-security zone's significance due to the presence of critical government offices, high courts, and embassies.

In an official directive to the Islamabad police, authorities have pleaded that ensuring the safety and security of these institutions is paramount. All personnel are instructed to perform their duties diligently, upholding a stringent law and order situation. Any negligence or carelessness during duty will result in stern departmental action against the responsible officers and employees.

"Islamabad police are leaving no stone unturned to ensure the safety and security of citizens, safeguarding their life and property while maintaining public peace.
